After one more awesome Daydream Island breakfast, we headed off to the farmstay. During the bus ride, Jara had a game for us where she would play part of a song, and we had to say what movie it was from. I was sitting with Anita, so we worked together on it, but she earned most of the points for us. We did pretty well with 17 points, but Katherine and Jo won with 21. We also stopped at a mall-type place on the way where I stocked up on cough drops ("Throaties") and cough syrup, since I was coughing pretty badly at this point.

The farmstay was a cattle station full of Brahmans. They gave us all cool hats to wear and taught us how to crack a whip. We also got pulled around on a tractor for a little tour of the cattle station. Dinner was good. There was beef, pumpkin, potatoes, etc. Carolyn kept babying me, like pouring my water for me and forcing me to try the pumpkin. She says that Lee and I are children, but Katherine and Jo are allowed to be adults, even though Lee and I are older than they are. I don't get it.

After dinner was karaoke. Katherine and Jo were the first ones to go up, and they sang "Bohemian Rhapsody." Lucky for me, my cough was too bad for me to be able to sing. Oh, darn. Somebody signed Jara up to sing "Down Under," but she was already in bed by the time it came on. Nikesh and Teresa sang "Summer Nights" from Grease, and apparently weren't aware of how the song ended. The looks on their faces toward the end of the song were priceless. The boys sang "I'm Too Sexy," and for some reason this included Lee. There were lots of memorable song choices that night. Even once we went to bed, we could still hear the music through the walls. Overall, it was a pretty good night, even though the cough syrup made me too sleepy to fully enjoy it.

I forgot to take a picture of the room, so here's Jessie's. It was pretty basic, but it was good enough for us (Photo stolen from Jessie Davis)
