In the morning, I walked a couple of blocks over to McDonald's to get breakfast. I had a "Bacon and Egg McMuffin," which was pretty similar to the Egg McMuffins we have at home. I had to check out and then check back in, since I would be staying with other people for the next two nights.
My Sydney Explorer Tour (through Contiki) included a ticket for the Hop On, Hop Off buses that they have in Sydney, so I decided to use mine today. I didn't realize there were two different routes, though, until I had already gone all the way around on the Bondi route once. I had to go back to connect to the Sydney route, and then I was able to get off at Circular Quay. I walked around, got some pictures of the opera house and the bridge, and finally bought some souvenirs. The Contiki tour had been so hectic that I hadn't really bought any souvenirs yet, so I was glad I finally had a chance. By this time, it was getting close to when the last bus left, so I started to make my way back to the hotel.
When I got back, I got to meet my roommates, Kate (from England) and Nerys (from Wales). They were trying really hard not to fall asleep because they had just flown in and weren't used to Australia time yet. I went across the street for Subway again and both of my roommates fell asleep before I even finished eating. I figured I'd take advantage of the situation and get some more sleep, so I went to bed early, too.
